KegWorks Customer Retention

Illustration | Marketing | Promotion

Each shipment that left the KegWorks warehouse was an opportunity to engage with customers. My responsibility was to create a tchotchke item that would encourage customers to return to the website for an additional purchase. Given the nature of their business I thought a coaster was a relevant item to send out. Each coaster has a unique variable-printed code on the back to incentivize a customer’s return. I set out to create an item that customers would not want to throw away, and hopefully use around the house or bar. Serving as a constant reminder that they have a deal waiting for them when the time comes.

Cheers, to a successful campaign.

The design of this coaster proved to be a fruitful investment. Each quarter, roughly $125,000-$150,000 dollars were directly tied to this small promotional item. Don't get me wrong; it’s a great promotion to run, but I do feel like my design played a (small) role in the campaign’s success. The design is a nod to Hieronymus Bosch's famous triptych painting The Garden of Earthly Delights.
