The Explorer Cabins

Logo Design | Branding | Promotion

The Explorer Cabins' Brand was built for those seeking an escape to the great outdoors, while staying in the comforts of a luxury cabin right on the edge of wilderness. My task was to build the identity and brand essence of these multi-location villages. Located throughout the continental U.S., the Explorer Cabins' identity was built to have a keystone corporate logo, and each new location is given its own icon within the identity that speaks directly to the area. Each location has its own unique landscape with a plethora of different adventures for the guests to enjoy, giving the guests a true camping/glamping experience. Even better, these villages are located within close proximity to larger resorts giving the guests freedom to hit the restaurants, pools, and spa if they so desire.

Building the Explorer Cabins' Identity

Our main goal was to position the Explorer Cabins as the perfect upscale retreat, offering guests proximity to the natural wonders of our National Parks along with access to the main lodge’s numerous amenities and activities. Within the marketing strategy we needed to raise awareness, instill a sense of curiosity, inspire intrigue and build demand for visitation in a compelling and motivating fashion through various marketing channels.

Building the Explorer Family

Throughout the cabins in each location and the retail shops, there are various products with the identity to help reinforce that each item is special and for the guest. Right down to the coffee mugs in each cabin, custom s'mores packages, flashlights, etc. Within the retail shops there is additional merchandise to help the customer base be part of a bigger family, allowing guests to collect merch from each location.
