At Tenaya Lodge, a large portion of their guests are in-fact businesses that escape for corporate retreats and team-building excursions. Being very close to Yosemite National Park and the John Muir forest of giant sequoias is a pretty big draw. In order to drum up some new business in the Groups sector, we decided a personalized mailer would help the efforts.
The start of something BIG.
Our main goal with this campaign was for the Tenaya sales team to build a new relationship with potential clients that had not visited the Sierra region before. In my research, I found that the forest of giant sequoias is such a large draw for this specific section of Yosemite. So I began to sketch some ideas. The final product was a beautifully symbolic gift of a baby sequoia sapling. The symbol of a new life and a new relationship that needed attention, care and patience. The mailing was highly successful with numerous bookings directly attributed to the initial list that these gifts were sent to.
