UX/UI | Mobile Application | Identity
This project was a start-up company that my business partner and I dreamt up while on our lunch break one afternoon. We walked 8-10 blocks in the middle of the hot summer to find a new food truck. After arriving at their location posted via Twitter, to our surprise the truck was not there. We chatted on our hungry walk back to the office that we would build an app solely dedicated to connecting food trucks and patrons with amazing accuracy.
Mobile Application Start Up
Technically we built two applications, one for the owners of food trucks and one for the consumer. The former allows the culinary side to pop open the app, drop a pin and set a timeframe until the pin expires. The system then populates that data through the consumer app showing when and where each food truck would be setting up for the day. My role was design of the brand and identity, as well as the UX/UI of each app. The user experience had to be designed in a quick and seamless way to make sure the information was up-front and easily accessible. Along with that, I had to create a user interface that echoed the brand look and feel.
